Pushpa 2

Pushpa 2 - The Rule has set the box office ablaze, earning ₹900 crore in India within 11 days, surpassing blockbuster records of KGF 2 and Baahubali 2. Starring Allu Arjun, the film has become the highest-grossing Indian film in the post-pandemic era, with a global collection of ₹1,414 crore.

₹900 Crore in 11 Days at the Indian Box Office

The film has raked in ₹900 crore domestically within just 11 days, breaking all previous records. Interestingly, the Hindi version of Pushpa 2 has outperformed the original Telugu version in terms of collections.

₹1,414 Crore Global Milestone

According to Comscore, Pushpa 2 has achieved a staggering global box office collection of $166.8 million (approximately ₹1,414 crore), including:

  • $1.6 million (₹13.57 crore) from the USA alone.
  • $12.5 million from North America in total.
  • An additional ₹233 crore from Europe, Gulf, and Asia-Pacific regions.

Combined revenue from Indian and international markets amounts to ₹175 crore, with the remaining contribution from overseas territories.

Beating Baahubali 2 and KGF 2

Pushpa 2 has surpassed KGF 2 (₹859.1 crore) and Baahubali 2 in just 11 days. Distributor Anil Thadani, who acquired the Hindi rights for ₹200 crore, has already doubled his investment, with the Hindi version outperforming expectations.

Financial Challenges in North America

Although the film has gained massive traction worldwide, it still faces profitability challenges in North America, where the break-even point was set at $15 million. Collections have dipped slightly mid-week, though weekend spikes have provided positive momentum.

A New Era for Indian Cinema

Post-pandemic, Pushpa 2 has emerged as a major success story, elevating Indian cinema’s global stature. With Allu Arjun’s magnetic performance and Sukumar’s visionary direction, the film has redefined box office benchmarks.

Will Pushpa 2 continue to set new records? Stay tuned for more updates!
